Ashley Ritter

Ashley Ritter joined Compass Financial Partners in March 2020 as the firm’s Director, Financial Wellness. In her role, Ashley leads the firm’s education team and its development of engaging participant communication and education with an emphasis on overall financial wellness for our retirement plan clients. Prior to joining Compass Financial Partners, Ashley served as a Participant Experience Consultant at Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement & Trust for five years, where she created and implemented award-winning communication strategies for retirement plan sponsors. During her 23 years in the retirement plan service industry she also worked as a transition project leader for TIAA and a relationship manager for Fidelity Investments. Ashley is passionate about bringing her retirement work experience to plan sponsors and their participants in order to improve retirement outcomes. She obtained both the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) credentials from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Ashley grew up in Charleston, SC, graduated from Furman University, and moved to Charlotte in December of 2014 after living in South Carolina, New Jersey and New York. In her free time, Ashley enjoys running, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, Ric and their two teenage children, Garrett and Riley, as well as their dogs Finley and Arlo.
